Escalation in ER's during a full moon, is a thing. I think it's likely because it's just 'brighter out', therefore, more people are out and about, instead of safe in their homes.

I don't actually play Elite Dangerous per-se any longer, but I do fire it up to get my "space ship fix" in VR every now and then :-)

I actually don't care that much about the game itself (I like more the exploration aspect). The space ship immersion (in VR), is above anything else I know of, it's awesome! Using a VR headset (currently an old Oculus Quest via PC, with a joystick or rather a HOTAS, combined with pedals / wheel for the SRV surface exploration - awesome stuff. Unfortunately I haven't had it set up for a good while now. But just writing about this now and I want to fix that. Miss being in "space" lol).

I enjoy Mass Effect also, great game series! (including ME Andromeda).

My mother's mother was raised Jehovah's Witness and probably knew every single superstition ever penned or memorized. And followed them religiously. Never ever put new shoes on a table or you'll have an atrociously unlucky day. Never cross knives or someone will fight. Always throw salt over your left shoulder if you spill some to keep the demons away. Never move into a house on a Friday or Saturday, and when you do move in carry bread and salt into the house the very first thing. If the first thing you see in the New Year is a butterfly, you'll have good luck all year. If a moth circles your head, someone close to you is going to die tonight. When you check your horse in the mornijng, if it's hair has twists and braids then pixies rode it in the night. Braid it's main with an EVEN number of braids to have good luck. Never put a pie on a window sill to cool because it will lure bad spirits into your house. When a mirrior is hung, it's to face a door so it keeps the evil out of that room. Always enter a room on the right foot, never ever cross a threshhold with the left foot first. on and on. There are far too many to go through and way more than I could ever remember. She had one for every occasion.

I think I've held superstitions before, but I honestly can't recall what they would be.

Christina omg when I had to rewatch the show cuz I was out shopping and just caught the end and was able to send a superchat but I heard you say that your favorite coffee is Carmel machiatto I love off coffee all day I have a huge 40oz. TAL insulated stainless steel leak proof thermos that I have Carmel machiatto iced coffee from international delight premade iced coffee and I mix the cans of Starbucks vanilla cream nitro brew coffee with ice omg it's so amazingly good I have it all day I don't usually eat just drink coffee unless I have a blueberry bagel with violife strawberry dairy free cream cheese
