As a fellow material chunk of Earth here, I am so proud and honored to be from the same planet as you. I can say, "I spent time where and when Jon thrilled us, " and it will be understood. Thank you so much!

Mr. Manod who is a musician in Thailand told his followers on Facebook live that a long time ago you( Mr. Anderson) came to Thailand and after Mr. Manod interviewed you. You wanted to go to Siam Square ( shopping center) but Mr. Manod's Van was pulled over by the police at the intersection near Siam Square. The police gave him a traffic ticket because he didn't renew license plate. He talked about you and admired you so much. That's why I know you I did not your big fan but now I will listen to your music. Thanks for giving beautiful music to the world.

Great to see Jon keeping on making music that sounds original and modern, just as he did in the 70s. Unique voice - still sounds strong.

The title “WDMCF” (2020) stands for “Where Does Music Come From.”

Jon Anderson believes that music comes from the divine : you just have to have an open heart to receive it. He was 75 years old when “WDMCF” was released, and he had never in his life suffered from writer’s block❗️

The bones of this tune date back to 1990 when Anderson, who had recently left Yes, started working on it for a solo LP then called “Uzlot.” He re-joined the band later that year and put the project on the shelf, where it stayed until producer Michael T. Franklin approached him in 2019 about revisiting it. Franklin lined up many guest musicians to fill in the missing pieces. “WDMCF” was given a very modern production, with EDM (Electronic Dance Music) elements. At the end, it resolves into a piano coda played by Chick Corea, taking it from one musical extreme to the other.

The “Manama tip pop pop” refrain came from one of Mr. Anderson’s vocalisation exercices. 💙🎹💜

Thank you, Jon, for being the single greatest source of mind-opening inspiration in my life. And you're still doing it. I saw you speak in NYC and you said that music comes from the Pleiades.

Jon, you remain a master of melody and dynamics, rhythm and timbre and emotion. Thx for continuing to write, produce and sing. I love your latest.
And hello from Louisiana, where provincials says things like, "I'm not sure, but I think all music came from New Orleans."

I've been insanely in love with song since I saw him perform this song last april right after meeting him a few hours earlier ( moment of a lifetime). Only thing wrong with this song is it's short. So, I had my genius son do a longer edit of the song & a few other add on's to make dad happy. SPECTACULAR. Maybe my son can replace Michael T. Franklin ( whom we also got to meet & talk to after the show for a good 5 minutes & was great ) & produce Jon's next album that he said is going to be free to the fans.
