Is that 8g of stabilizer really 8g? I added that to mine, using the ice cream stabilizer from modern pantry and it got suuuper thick during the cooking step to 85c

The ice cream looks smooth and creamy, just how I love it. Very nice recipe.
If anyone uses this as a base for non-fruit ice creams, I recommend adding a pinch of salt to the mix!
