When my boyfriend and I started dating, we watched Girls for 2 months. One night, after the show, I turned to him and asked him what he liked most about the show. He said he didn't know and that he was just watching it with me because I liked it so much. I just kind of blinked at him for 15 seconds before I said "Brian, I had never once seen this show before you turned it on after we had sex on the couch 4 weeks ago."
Turns out we had somehow each come to the conclusion that it was the other person's favorite show, and were watching it to make the other happy.
