InVideo is good and horrible at the same time. There are so many kinks to iron out with it. I can generate a vide in almost no time but then the headache comes with the changes I want to make. The voice is unstable. The tone keeps changing if I make even slight changes to the script and did not ask for a change in tone. So one change like that can have me editing the same video for several hours though it should have taken ten or even two minutes. The video clips sometimes do whatever they want as well. After I edit them to what I want I’ll see something else in the replay. There needs to be more flexibility in the adjustments of the scenes in editing both script and the swapping out of video clips. It’s a little dishonest too to say the cost starts at $20. That’s if you’re paying annually. Otherwise, it’s $25. The lack of full disclosure can turn some people off. InVideo is good for what it is but hopefully, there will be well-needed improvements in the 2.0 version.

Great tips! I haven't been impressed with InVideo in the past. The image irrelevance and low-quality look and feel of the produced videos were my main gripe. However, this video makes me want to go back and give it another try. Thank you.

After watching a couple of YouTube videos demoing the tool, I tried it. I've had a subscription for about a month now, and I'm not sure it's worth it. A video that's supposed to take "10 minutes", takes many hours to edit the script and images. The images are also very generic. I expected more on-point information about the specific topic “especially if you try the “Recent Events” workflow. I was going to make several videos about the top 10 beaches in the world, but not if it's always going to be the same images over and over again. I'm also having some of the same issues as listed below. Tone and context change when I make a slight edit to the script, and I've wanted to delete images or extend the length of others, and I can't seem to get the changes to stick even after clicking on "apply".

Also, it would be great if the tool could create a separate thumbnail with “the hook” to be used with the video.

What about other languages? Do we need to use English for prompts and stick to videos generated in English?

You can do a lot with capcut as well. Free alternative to invideo and fewer headaches.

I use Invideo for my comedy videos. I use it for an assitance tool meaning, I put in my idea, generate the script/video, then go in and edit the verbage and videos. I couldn't do this on my own as i have disabilities from the military that affect my writing and thought process. Having the scripts and videos generated for me, is a huge help because it's like building a house: invideo builds the house and then i go in and add my own unique touches to it.

and this is why there is copied/pasted muck all over youtube. create original videos, even faceless ones, and don't just copy thumbnails and titles and concepts. originality stands out.

Yes it’s got a few issues and the limit on use of stock media did not seem clear to me before I subscribed. Its seems to me that anyone who thinks AI can really do everything without correction by the user is expecting too much, but it’s possible to do a lot and it’s got me started. I’m increasingly swapping out media and changing the script but it’s still a lot lot easier that doing it all manually.

It's also important to check your video stats to see where viewers are dropping off so you can learn what not to do. this will take time if you have a lot of videos and I admit I don't do it as much. side note...you're very pretty. keep up the great work! subbed.

I guess i’m an outlier bc to get my click depends on the title and the length of the video. Do i think this video is going to cover what i’m looking for and how long will it take them. Depending on the topic, I may want it to be a long vid bc i feel its more likely in depth like a tutorial, but if its a simple question I’m looking for no rambling, no repeat affiliate links so i go for the shortest vid. I don’t care about the thumbnail, but that’s just me. I sometimes think if the thumbnail is too slick & overused that it’s a copycat video of another video so i just skip it
