Funnily enough, I just finished Roadwork two days ago. I enjoyed it a lot, but I can't help but notice how similar it was to Rage and The Running Man at times

I liked how Bart slowly loses his mind over the course of the book, and I think the ending makes sense for what the story.

Overall, I enjoyed Roadwork. Of the 3 Bachman books I've read so far, I think it's my second favorite.

Havent read a bad Bachman book. No dry/slow parts in any of them. It’s King in his thriller form and I like it. He doesnt ramble in them and stall the plot. Only one I havent read is Rage.
