DON’T LOOK AWAY: Driving the Momentum of Racal Justice Into the Early Childhood Classroom. The goal of this book study is to delve deeply into the topics addressed in the pages of Don’t Look Away: Embracing Anti-Bias Classrooms. During the third session of this book study, the panelists will explore the research that supports culturally responsive anti-bias education for children whose first language is not English. All of the panelists will provide on-the-ground examples of how diverse languages in early childhood settings are an asset and, if supported, provide culturally rich experiences for all children in the program.

HighScope is an independent nonprofit organization working to close the opportunity gap through high-quality early education. For 50 years, the organization has led the movement to ensure that every child has the opportunity to realize their full potential, regardless of their circumstances.
