I’ve watched a few of your vids now. Very detailed and well explained. As a personal trainer with an interest in archery and body mechanics it’s refreshing to hear someone speak on a topic with clear, concise knowledge who is also passionate about what they do.
I was actually just quickly practicing this position today.
It’s such a great sport/pastime.

Yup. Pushing pressure point toward target was helpful. That made a lot of sense. Thank you.

Finally! I'm a beginner archer and have been having issues with my bow shoulder from day one. I had it sorted but then my alignment was off and I worked very hard on my rotational draw, which I now have nailed down but then my bow shoulder began to roll out of position. I've just tried your technique and it works! I really think it's that part where you put tension on the string a few inches at set up that helps lift the bow, really sets it in place. If I don't do that part, I find it harder to lock my shoulder in place and it raises up or rolls forward. Your videos are a real help so thanks again 🤝

This is the exact info I've been searching for since I first saw your case studies. This was always the one bit I could never replicate, but now I know exactly what I need to do! Many thanks to the best coach I've ever seen!

Nice to hear this analyzed! The technique you describe occured naturally to me once I started Olympic archery! Although I only followed the motion I felt was the easiest to repeat!

This is the most relevant infos I've finally heard I've been searching for since The pedagogy of the Rogue Archery Instructor is that which one learns in the books, all the instructors know it but no one follows it. Thank you but too bad you don't speak French 😀😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃

Incredible explanation! I think I understand the bow shoulder, this makes it easier. My question is the scapula. My trainer says we should rotate inwards on the back to avoid shoulder collapse, what is your opinion on the setup and sensitivity of the bow scapula.
Great work, love your channel 🎯💪

The idea of pushing the bow instead of lifting it just blew my mind.

Retroactively it makes so much sense, your hand is going to be at it's furthest point from you when it's going straight forward at the target, so if you just push it away from you the arm should just scoop upwards until level.

Is this right?
