Standard Gravity Saloon Door Hinges- Product Video | Double Action Hinges

Available exclusively at Swinging Cafe Doors, the Standard Gravity Hinges are available in brass, satin chrome, oil rubbed bronze, and matte black finishes. These double action hinges allow the door to be pushed open in either direction and self-return to center. Our Standard Gravity Hinges have all metal brackets making them stronger with better visual appeal. The Standard Gravity Hinges mount to the top and bottom of the doors. These are sold as a set, enough to hang two doors. Standard Gravity Hinges can hold up to 30 lb doors. These hinges are for doors 3/4" to 1-3/8" thick.
The Standard Gravity Hinges are referred to as gravity hinges because they use gravity to bring the doors to a closed position. When the doors are opened they are pushed up a ramp, when released they ride back down the ramp. At the bottom of the ramp the doors are in the center (closed) position.
They also offer a "hold open" feature when rotated 125 degrees. The door will rise ⅜” of an inch when fully opened.
