It was a slow start for me too with Crawdads. Around the 100 page mark it started holding my attention and I was hooked by the end!

I will have to check out The Existence of Amy. I struggle with anxiety and OCD tendencies. I was going to read Where the Crawdads Sing this month, but I let my youngest dog pick between some of the ones I was most excited for and she went with Kaikeyi (which I am currently reading and enjoying) and If the Shoe Fits over Where the Crawdads Sing. I loved the unhoneymooners! I’ve also STRUGGLED to get into where the crawdads song… and I will also be attempting to read it again this month lolz. Nov 9 was too cheesy for me, prly my least fav book from coho, but my niece loved that book! Such a fun age is also on my TBR 💙💜

watching the trailor for where the crawdads sing definitely is helping me imagine the setting and the whole vibe of the book and the chapters in the beginning are really slow but it gets super interesting!

Nice choices! I am currently listening to November 9 on Audible and “cheesy” so far is fair but as of now a decent summer read. If you have Audible Seatmate I great to listen to. You literally can see yourself on the bus and feel like you listening in on a couples conversation and the whole book is like that. Fun listen.

I’m loving your book content! I started Such a fun age a few weeks ago & I just cannot get into it. I would read a chapter or two and then not want to continue. I’ll wait to see what you think about it lol. It took me a while to get into Where the crawdads sing too. It wasn’t my favorite but I did enjoy it towards the middle & I’m looking forward to the movie. Thanks for all the recs!

i always take the goodreads reviews with a grain of salt! normally if it’s anything over 4 stars i’m impressed don’t let it stop you from trying a new book :) also loving the booktube content 💓

The first half of Where the Crawdads Sing I really struggled to get through. It was almost a DNF for me. I pushed through though and I am glad I did because the second half had me captivated and I could not put it down! I can’t wait to see the movie this month!
