For a cheap tablet, as long as you got the right app (doesn't work well in some apps as shown in Squid) this works well.

I would love to see a test of Google Handwriting Input on this device (and future). That input method works in all apps and I used it lots and lots with my Samsung Note 8.

Nice view of Stylus rubber tip. But what is hidden, and essential for writing experience is palm postiion - doues it allow touching the screen while writing, or not. Which you didn't show.

I'm on the market for a tablet for taking notes and the m5 lite was one of the three finalists, but the fact it'll never get android upgrades made me discard it. And it's a pity because for taking notes it works pretty well for a reasonable price.

Can you draw on this? I mean use this as an alternative/ secondary device for on the go illustrations. I use medibang on my main machine (ASUS transformer) and I think this device might have an advantage in terms of portability and battery life over a surface pro like device if it is usable on android version of medibang or other similar software.
