I worked at a Microsoft call center during the Red Ring of Death fiasco in the mid-late 00s. I miss the menus of old consoles. the fun little cube on the gamecube, the soothing background music, it was so wonderful. all the little sounds it made.
and the PS2's save data icons were 3D models, that sometimes animated when you selected them, and on a rare occasion animated when you selected delete.
I miss that.
