I would remove all the ceiling and have it plexi-glassed and sealed, with a lockable access panel. leave external access open for them. what a unique accent to the room.

Did you know bees use their wings to cool a room down? I mean, it's a win win if I get a bee hive AND I'm a landlord. Save tons of money in AC

I hope they called a bee specialist to remove them humanely. ❤

Every time I see a video like this with thousands of bees in someone's walls, it immediately makes me think of two movie scenes. The first is the scene in the movie "My Girl" where a girl's best friend gets stung and passes away from an allergic reaction to it. I remember being young when I saw it for the 1st time and I couldn't imagine the pain of losing a best friend at such a young age. The 2 child actors who were involved in that scene were very close to being the same age as me

The other scene was in the movie "Pure Luck" when Martin Short gets stung and swells to the size of a bloated Chris Farley. It was a comedy movie so there were no deaths it was just very awkward having Martin Short triple in size or more and how he dealt with it.

Ironically, both of those movies came out in 1991 so I probably saw them in '93 or '94 but I saw them within a few months of each other. It was two similar occurrences with extremely different outcomes. My mom was allergic to bees and anytime I saw one around her, I went into protection mode so fast because of course I didn't want it to cause her death but I also didn't want it to be the reason she blew up from 120 lbs to looking like she was 320 lbs cuz I couldn't imagine how horrible both of those experiences had to be. Even though the scene in Pure Luck was meant for comedy as it was a comedic movie, I still tried to turn into a super hero for my mom anytime a bee got too close. I saw "My Girl" before I saw "Pure Luck" and I remember that being one of the first movies I ever cried along with an actor in. Vada, played by Anna Chlumsky, did such a good as a young actress to convey her feelings in those moments. She had lost her mother during her birth then her best friend tragically passed the way he did. As a kid, I felt so much empathy for her.

It's amazing how those two scenes in movies I saw over 30 years ago are still the first thing that pops into my head after seeing bees take over people's homes and live in their walls like that. I could process the difference between the dramatic scene in "My Girl" and the comedic scene in "Pure Luck, " but they're still scenes that I remember so well even to this day. "My Girl" was the movie I remember pretty much the entire movie cuz her father was a mortician and my best friends dad was a mortician so I related a little more with it where "Pure Luck" I pretty much only remember the scene of Martin Short being and swelling up so badly.

If I ever find over a hundred thousand bees in my mom's walls, I'm turning into Rambo and my only weapon would be a blowtorch. Lol. I haven't allowed a single bee to get within 10 feet of my mom in over 30 years.
