Great video Tyler! I will try to fix all these mistakes with my riding! No more Anderson style with the untucked jersey!

I gotta say this is top quality content. I’m just getting into dirt bikes age 45, 25 years on the road has become too mundane. This is Gold. 😊

Always wanted a dirt bike pretty much since I was a kid. I rode a Harley for 10 years then sold it because of the typical got older, family, time stuff but now as my kids are getting older I want to get us outdoors and would love to get on a bike like this. I'm not ignorant, I know the techniques are completely different but I want to learn. Thanks for the videos like this!

Something I thought of based on #2. While that is true, holding steady throttle like you "should" becomes detrimental fairly early on. By the time you get to the top of beginner class in local races, you really need to know how to charge up to a face then slow down a bit and sort of coast over the jump. I could never find a video explaining how to properly do it so I just learned it myself by practicing on smaller tabletops. I think that would make a great technique video, its suprising how much you can lower your lap time by blasting straightaways rather than holding the speed you need for an upcoming jump.

The foot being up and out of the way in corners is vital, I nearly snapped mine backwards cuz it was too low and I was corning a tall berm!
