31st March 2022 *Loc’d*
Had 9-10 inches of hair after being loc’d. Six weeks later my locs have shrunk up into a Bob styles at my ears & it’s a frizz bomb 💣 but I love it. Getting a retie very soon, loving the process 🤗

Love this!!!((: I started my journey February 17th so excited 😊 thank you sis for taking the time out to make these videos these are truly needed, especially the part about overthinking the process and even if my hair will lock or how long to go with retwist but you are right it is a process thank you again ☺️😊

Great tips Sis! I agree with your theory about washing locs a few weeks in and them coming undone. 🤣

Another great video! I think you may be on to something. I never understood why some Locticians advise their clients not to wash for months in order to loc faster. Not having to reinstate unraveling starter locs does seem easier.🤔 A better solution IMO, is to perform a gentle wash. If some of the starter locs unravel, just reinstate them. That too is part of the process. ☺️

I got my locs started with braids in December and honestly I want to take them all down and do two strand twists and make my parts bigger.

I’ve had my two strand twist 10 days ago and washed it for the first time after 8 days🤷🏾‍♂️ I work in a newspaper warehouse so between the itchy scalp and the paranoia of having a shit ton of dust makes me uncomfortable lol I’ll never understand how people can go months without washing they hair I’ve already determined imma be one of those 2 week washers who sneak in extra wash days
