Hey Dae. I agree with everything you said but I would also add a clarifying and moisturizing shampoo. Gotta keep that scalp clean and the clarifying shampoo does that 4 me. I don't use conditioner but a moisturizing shampoo can be helpful to use after the clarifying one.

I have 4c thick hair and i’m tired of styling it and figuring out what to do with it. I’ve realized that locks don’t have to be forever. you can comb them out or cut them off. for me personally putting locks in my hair will be a new journey for me that i’m ready to embark on☺️

I thought i had done all my research but now that I actually have my hair in the loc process I don’t actually know what to do 😗 I think it’s what is confusing me is the fact that locs are so minimal. I don’t need 30 products and my wash days won’t take literally the whole day. I’m really excited 😆

I would like to add that doing a acv once in a while doesn't hurt. It's better to do it before you even begin to see any build up.

Thanks for touching on the type of water that’s ok to use! I’m almost 2 years loc’d, but when I started, not many people, if any, touched upon what kind of water to use for moisturizing.
Back then, I just knew that I didn’t necessarily trust tap water as a moisturizer😅. I assumed that if bottled water is good to drink then it should be good to use as my main form of moisture. Thanks for sharing for the newbies🤎!

I love how satin scarf lays your hair but somehow it usually falls off before I wake up so I'm just into satin bonnets. Thanks for the Tips. I really need to leave my comfort zone and try more oils, i really loved castor oil when I tried it; it's a good oil to get rid of thinning locs.
