These are good habits for saving money. They say nothing about how to make money, except to work at what you love rather than what pays well. But I did the opposite, worked where it paid well, and guess what! It turned out I was good at what I did for money, and loved my work and respected most of my bosses. And I looked for side hustles - weekend typing work, selling popular classical tickets at profitable prices, selling used but good books I owned on Amazon. I loved selling at a profit. That was my side hustle. I retired a millionaire.

Buffet lives near me: he may have purchased his house in 1958 for $31, 500 but that house is a 5 bedroom 2.5 bath today valued at almost 1.5 Million dollars. And in Omaha, that is A LOT of house for the money.
Yes, he could afford almost any home he wants, but it isn't like he is living in a slum now.
