If this actually happened here's what would happen

If a plane hit the burj khalifa the burj khalifa durability isn't that strong enough to handle a huge explosion (just like the twin towers) the buildings durability isn't that strong due to how big the building is. If a plane crashes onto it, the building would be too weak and would just end up collapsing the whole thing in just less than an an hour . the reason the burj khalifa was cheaper to construct than the one world trade centre (twin towers) was because they could build the building really big but with weaker glass and other weak materials. If the top of the burj khalifa fell it would get crushed just as it hits the ground because the building doesn't have a lot of layers of glass like the one world trade centre and it has been proven that if a plane hit the one world trade centre, the plane would be deflected because the building has more than Double the amount of glass layers than the burj khalifa.
