After I followed your instructions I still couldn't see my hidden apps because it had knocked me off of my wifi. Only mentioning in case that happens to anyone else, try logging back into wifi. As soon as I did that (after clearing the cache) my icons started popping back up on my home screen one by one. Thank you so much!!

thank you very much this so far has helped for my s23, it appeared again so i brought it to a cell repair type store they did what they did and told me it would not show up a half hour later secure folder shows up, this is very frustrating. please help!

It did not work for my s23 ultra, then I realised that it might be my cable that's the problem.

I purchased a brand new cable and tried again, and it solved the issue.

Cables do wear out, and this can affect the data transfer function, even though it appears to be charging.

I've done this before on Samsung phones without a PC but it's been a while. Why does it need to be plugged into a PC? What function is the PC providing?
