Galaxy S8 & Plus: How to Wipe/Clear Cache Partition.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to boot your Samsung Galaxy S8 or S8 plus into the recovery menu mode to access the wipe cache partition.
It always a good idea to clean your cache partition every month or so. If you start experiencing any freezes, lags, errors, etc then wiping the cache partition is one of the first things to try.

This done wonders for my note 8.  I went 8 moths without doing this and developed a little lag.  Followed your directions and back to new we go.  Samsung did a wonderful job with the S8 series.  8 months and no lag,   that's real good for a Samsung phone.  My Note 8 is like new now.

thnx for this info. i did that and its give me the text : systemupdate installing. how long wil that take before the menu comes where i can wipe cache partition? and how does it doe that systemupdate without data connection? upfront thanks for any info on this

Anything I can do to clean up memory ? I've moved almost everything to sd card but it it says memory is full under "other " what in the heck is other? I'm about ready to do a complete reset on this thing!
