My Mom used to just squeeze the lemons and add honey. I drank it that way straight. It's strong but I like it. It worked really well! You can make it like tea but I don't do teas!

I am just after a really bad head cold (three weeks or so) with a lot of phlegm. I found benylin phlegm cough bottle good to soften the coughing at night and stop the pain in my ribs from coughing. I found my nose and eyes and head in a lot of pain so I used nurofen antiinflammatory and panadol for the pain and it seemed to work. The virus was in the head and chest area and just when you would feel ok it would kick off again. I used Vicks as well in a burner mixed with water in the room and it helped I put it on my chest as well. This virus is a curse and a real pain it's really stubborn and I never coughed up as much phlegm and I don't smoke or suffer with chest problems I would head to the doctor asap with small children if they start symptoms and watch the elderly and anyone with breathing or are chesty normally.
