Similar Shapes GCSE Maths Exam Questions (Enlargements, Scale Factors)

In this video you will be shown how to answer some GCSE maths on similar shapes. Similar shapes are 2 shapes that have been enlarged. In other words all the sides have been
Enlarged by the same scale factor. When you given a pair of similar shapes first find the scale factor by dividing 2 matching side lengths. Once you have the scale factors you can find more lengths by multiplying and dividing by this scale factor. Sometimes the similar shapes will be put into one diagram. If this is the case draw the shapes separately before you start.
