This video was so helpful as I have a maths test on this topic tomorrow and I was really stressing because I just didn't understand this topic, but now I do and I am confident with area/volume scale factors! Thanks so much 😁

Man, I had that last question on my year 10 mock last year and was baffled by it! Thanks for going over it.

Good video, however, you don't need a calculator for the ratio question (24:07) if you do it in a different way. Find the length SF as a ratio, so cube root 27:64 = 3:4. Then square to get ASF which becomes 9:16. Do 800/16 = 50, finally 50 x 9 = 450. Easier in my opinion :)

Please please could you make a video on congruency? These have really helped me improve a lot and I would appreciate it if the congruency vid was out before the end of September before my mocks. Thank you

Could you make a video on Volume and surface area of cones and spheres?

For the ratio question at 27:64, there a much faster way to do it. You can just keep everything in fractional form and use fractional indices to convert from vsf to asf and divide 800 by the asf:

vsf = 64/27
therefore, asf = (64/27)^2/3 - this is the same as cube rooting it then squaring it.
800 ÷ (64/27)^2/3 = 450
