Pope Francis says 'homosexuality is not a crime'

Pope Francis has criticized laws that criminalize homosexuality as "unjust," and said God loves all his children, just as they are.

"Being homosexual isn't a crime," Francis said during an interview Tuesday with The Associated Press.

Francis acknowledged that Catholic bishops in some parts of the world still supported laws that criminalized homosexuality or discriminated against the LGBTQ community.

But, he attributed attitudes to cultural backgrounds, and said bishops in particular needed to undergo a process of change to recognize the dignity of everyone.

I was wondering when the catholic church would show their true colors. I'm not a perfect human being but when I look at the world we are living in I truly believe we are living in the last days. It has become a crime to speak the truth because when you do you are told its hate speech.

Jesus ate with sinners, Jesus stopped people from stoning a prostitute to death, this doesn't mean prostitution is not a sin: The pope clearly says "homosexuality is not a crime, it is a sin" meaning when someone chooses to be anything they are just exercising their God-given right of choice which isn't a crime.
Adam and Even were punished by God after eating the forbidden fruit (after committing sin) not when they were deciding to eat it (exercising their freedom of choice).
We are put on this world to serve God, to love one another, to be vessels of peace, but if you decide to sin that's on you and the consequences you'll face only God knows, he will judge when he comes.
So love everyone Bi, trans or gay, pray for them to convert, some battles people face with their identity and bodies can't be won on their own, our flesh is weaker than it seems (even Jesus thought he couldn't handle the cross when he was in human form and he prayed): we just pray for them without pointing fingers, we do what Jesus did best.

Who in the hell is he to say that homosexuality is not a crime?? It may not physically be a crime but spiritually it is. That filthy lifestyle is Totally against GOD’S laws and his natural order between a man and a woman. These people are constantly trying to make up any kind of excuses to condone a man messing with another mans private parts, and that don’t sit well with me at all. Because I have kids, and I don’t want children’s mind polluted thinking that’s the way it supposed to be because, GOD did not intend it to be that way.
