Thanks! That's a nice basic tutorial! But I would like to see it go a little bit in-depth with the custom hardware. Which pins, what protocol, etc.. I'm planning a custom board with a 4D Systems Gen4-FT812-70T display. This turorial doesn't explain how the IDE knows what pins are used on the MCU or even which MCU is used in the first place. What about display modules the TouchGFX software doesn't know about? Besides that I would also like to see some custom graphics rending from software.. Is there a canvas widget or component that I can draw some cool graphics to from the firmware code and is that fast enough to do some cool interactive animations like dragging a gradient filled circle around the display in real time without stuttering and glitches when using for instance an STM32H723?

Hello, and thank you for your video series. Unfortunately I have a problem that I can't solve: In your video at 9:39, you show the imported structure of your project. However, the xxx.IOC file is always missing for me. My STM32CubeIDE is version 1.17.0 and GFX version 4.24.1. In the GFX I can save the project on the STM32F429i-Disc1, and the display shows everything there. Unfortunately, I can't continue programming in CubeIDE because I have no way to edit the xx.ioc file and set ports. I would be happy to receive an answer, MFG Peter
