I was surprised at the quality (physically) of this one. I expected light cheap plastic feeling, but it was sturdy and had a great weight and overall - if this thing had something with better software like Garlic or Onion (or something similar) it would be amazing. You'd think that handheld companies would be paying for great O.S support as it has the potential to be game changing!

Changing the SD card to a premium one will solve the stuttering issues in games like god of war?

Hi Joey, thanks for this great clear and precise tutorial.
Finally I will order this little console despite everything I have read about it.
I will probably have to print in PLA (and sand) some parts that I think I will have to replace (example the ABXY buttons in the right colors) or order a kit on the internet.

Thank you for this guide Joey! The hardest part of setting up my Trimui was the prep work but once that was sorted from watching your guide the installation process was straightforward. You couldn't have explained it clearer. I've got your Crossmix guide ready to watch next.

Because I purchased the Trimui without SD card I'm having some troubles identifying what the ROM file type should be for the following consoles:
- NDS
- GBA

Thank god, Joey.. I had been trying to update mine using a different video I found that turned out to not be very helpful... I should have looked for a video from you first, but thanks to you I got it up and running! I did have one issue with my card format; I'm on a Mac and am using a 128g card, which I guess Mac will not allow to format as FAT32? Could not figure it out [newb] and ended up using a smaller card that was formatted appropriately, slapped the incremental update on there, and got it to install. Then just swapped back to my larger card with all my games and everything is as it should be! I might have taken the long way to get to the end goal, but I'm still learning! 😅 Thank you for helping me figure it out, Joey!!! <3

What do you mean games freezes I mean that's true I have one but it's white but when I play God of war and never freezes and goes like that it goes really smooth

Are all roms bad? One reason I bought it with the SD card was to skip the step of downloading each of the roms. But if they are bad you think I should replace all of them?
Or maybe just change the ones that keeps crashing.

This is definitely a big help. I just received mine in the mail and it seems to not play PSP and PS1 games so I'm hoping I can fix it since its the whole reason I bought it.
