They have the same reach, its bullshit. Conor was going to fight cowboy cerrone and has fought nate diaz, both taller than masvidal and masvidal fought cerrone. Also people are quick to forget someones ability after a bad performance if Masvidal had a bad loss tomorrow and Conor a big win, no doubt the online rumors would sway. People sleep on McGregor, yeah Khabib dominated him but that and his loss to nate diaz is his only 2 real losses, and we know he did better in the rematch.
So, it looks to me a way Conor McGregor could re-credit his name against Jorge Masivdal, who wants to keep his hype train rolling and take him out and get paid on the way.
Not to mention the personality clash which means fun fight which means hella ticket sales
