Dangers and Alternatives for Street Racing and Takeovers in Los Angeles County

Sheriff Alex Villanueva and representatives from the CHP, LAPD and other agencies will remind street takeover enthusiasts that law enforcement has zero tolerance for this misconduct on the streets of Los Angeles County. Sheriff Villanueva will inform the public about places where people can safely do donuts and "swing" a vehicle. Lili Trujillo Puckett, founder of Street Racing Kills (SRK), will talk about the tragic incident that took her daughter’s life almost 10 years ago. Lili Trujillo Puckett founded SRK in 2014 after her 16-year-old daughter Valentina was killed by a young man who was street racing and crashed while giving her a ride home.
