--------------------------
A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his YouTube channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

That opening line was killer and open tunings bring new life to creativity. Every time I try a new tuning, I end up writing a new piece of music.

Personally that was my favourite opening joke you’ve done. Well done Sean, proud of you.

no way I found this video shortly after realizing an open relationship is what fits me best and then you throwing in aspects of it while explaining the open D tuning that I need for covering a song that has helped me figure out I am poly 😆 what is life? this video made my morning, my day and maybe even my week 😂 thank you for these 10 fateful, highly entertaining and informative minutes
PS: sounds like you wanted to be the major one for someone back then. If that is still your wish: I hope it came or comes true for you!

Thanks Sean for the open tuning flavour to your last couple of lessons, it's much appreciated. I'd love it if you kept it up. Cheers Cocker!!

Sean, Did I miss something? You talked about strings #6, #4 and #1 (all the "D"s), and strings #5 and #2 (the "A"s). But what about string #3 (the F#)? What do we do with that?

Really enjoy the way you explain things. I'll take silly over serious any day.

This dude is the epitome of your damn little brother who naturally mastered anything he picked up. Golf. Guitar. Chicks....has no idea how charismatic he is....not a clue. Meanwhile older brother took 6 months to learn a major scale he is humorous too. Rock on the way, pretty good guitar player as well

Ok, long time watcher, but I am questioning a 3 year old video (not a good look). Your explanations are stellar as always, except you lost me on the A string. You have driven whole, whole half, whole, whole, whole, half into my brain forever. What is the reason for the difference on the A string? Have mercy, I am an old man trying to relive my young man dream to play guitar. I am old enough to know the side man is a good gig.
