India has huge reserves Of naturally occurring titanium oxides in Kerala. However, plants for extraction of titanium metal have never been installed. Perhaps, this should be taken up now.

Engine supply by GE is part real supply issue and part is US role to delay and keep India vunerable to china so that India remains dependent on west or russia. Even if India remains dependent on russia, that too will be good for US.

I have been a regular viewer of your channel for updates in the Defence Industry, and have been following this F404 story for a long time and have seen some previous videos you did about alternatives so this thought came across my mind and thought would test it out here to see what you & others think
1) If the supply chain issue is only for F404 and not 414 as you mentioned in one of the videos before, then won't it be an easier/less time-consuming process to try and get Mk1a to be mated with 414, while simultaneously working on Indigenous solutions?
2) Another thing you mentioned was how Koreans don't face this Supply Chain issue because Samsung Techwin makes them locally, so can't the Korean (or even Swedish Volvo RM12) made F404's be an alternative for American-made ones? If not fully at least in parts where till the supply Chain issues subside

And lastly, if the situation is such as you say in the video where Russians have raw material and Americans have machinery wouldn't a quick fix be something similar to what we do in Oil markets? Take Russian raw materials and give them to Americans to process and make the engines for us? Because the process of making those engines here in India is going to be a long 2-3 year process as well...
