The getting harassed and then being told you’re “triggered” for sticking up for yourself has got to be the realest part of

I heard an elderly lady say something like that daddy issues thing about me in a store when I was buying my prom dress. A few seconds later, my dad came running towards me with a big ass dress saying "that would be like that cute cinderlla dress you loved so much when you were 5. Can you please war this? I would even pay for it. . Look on that women's face was pricless. My dad being super wholesome as always, was soo perfect in that situation.

They always complain about how people are too sensitive, but any unnatural hair colors triggers them

"That's true, but that has nothing to do with my hair!" 😂

My conservative sister got mad at me for buying almond milk once. Literally bought it because it has a longer shelf life and I was sick of throwing away spoiled milk. But that was too woke apparently

Had a friend with a collection of wigs in fun colors to cover where her hair fell out due to a health thing. She had SO much fun staring customers down before slowly lifting her wig. You could watch morons die inside as they frantically apologized and basically run. It was GLORIOUS.

Who would have thought fun hair colours could become so OFFENSIVE and controversial 💀

My friends mom had breast cancer. Lost her hair. When it grew back and it was still short, pixie length, she dyed it pink to represent awareness. Within a couple weeks she dyed it brown. I found out years later it was because people in public on multiple occasions harassed her about it.. having opinions on peoples hair choices is wack and makes no sense to me. Its shameful to have such a negative outlook just because someone wants to make a part of them look nicer

I can not tell you the amount of times I’ve been labeled trans and shamed just because I’m a girl with short hair

Edit: for all the people saying “oh this has never happened to me” or “stuff like this doesn’t actually happen” sometimes it matters on where you live for example I live in a very conservative area in PA. It’s not going to be the same as a place like California. Just because this has never happened to you doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happens

I feel this so hard. Last election season my mom was diagnosed with cancer. To support her I shaved my head with her and since I have blue eyes I dyed my hair blue, you know to help me feel good about myself. And my eyes did pop, y’all! But the way people treated me was absolutely horrible, truly changed my perspective on people and politics. I hated pulling the “my mom has cancer” card because it felt gross, but I did a few times and boy did their tune change. Never make assumptions, because you never know what that person is going through. Btw- my mom is still in the fight, her breast cancer is in remission and she’s fighting her lung cancer now. And I do not regret shaving my head one bit, it gave her the courage to do it herself and we could relate with each other during the awkward grow out stages. But I can’t deny that it really hurt to have people treat me so harshly at a time when I really needed compassion.

These people are the kind saying "we nees to bring bullying back" while actively bullying others.
