I lost my own mom a year ago while completing my very first dp and had hoped that I could have shared the joy with my mom also. But, I found so much joy listening to your mom chat and answering the tag questions, it was a lot of fun! loved this wip and chat with you and your mom. Seems like a super sweet person. So, it’s 2 a.m. here and I have to get up for work at 5:30. Got in to diamond painting and couldn’t stop. lol Also, I ordered my canvas from DAC for the Drills N Chills. I ordered the “Any Candy” . I kept browsing DAC and when they posted that one I knew it was for me 😊. I always look forward to your wip n chat! Thank you. I hope you and your mom have a great week. Enjoy your time together 💙

Katie and Mom, really enjoyed your WIP and chat. I learned to open at least the big canvases. I had ordered Nativity from DAC. I pulled the drills out ( without looking at the painting) and kitted them up. Later, when I pulled the Nativity canvas to work on it, I discovered it was not the right canvas. The drills were the beiges, creams, and browns for Nativity, but the canvas was a red truck in a field of flowers. DAC did give my money back but Nativity was no longer available. 🙁 I also once had an order accepted by DAC but the next day, I got an email saying that the kit wasn’t available. They automatically refunded me for that. Both were disappointing. Katie, enjoy your Mom. My Mom has been gone 30 years and I still miss her. She would have loved diamond painting. Please come on again and keep diamond painting Debbie. Send pictures of your completed paintings to Katie so we can see them.🚙 Blue is my favorite color too. 🦋

Hi Katie and Debbie. Laura A here! I lost my mom 38 years ago thus month and she would have loved diamond painting. She was an avid cross stitcher, knitted, croquet and she did bunko. It brings me so much joy to see you together diamond painting. Enjoy each other! 😊💙🩵

💙💙💙 I LOVE MOM! Hi Mom! Not only fun to hear her answers but so nice to see you guys chit chat while working. And knowing that your Mom gets together with other ladies to diamond paint - sounds like a great way to spend some time with others. Diamond painting can become very isolating which is great some times, but love seeing the social side.

Aww. I got my mom diamond painting and I diamond paint with her in the morning/afternoon every now and again. It's really nice. My mother's whole supply collection is from my own stash of things.

As a fellow Ohioian, I loved listening to this. Just like sitting around the table with my family, playing cards, or crafting. I'm about 45 minutes from Dayton. Love the idea of the meat tenderizer! Might help get out some of the frustration at having stuck together drills! 💙
