Frequently Asked Questions:

Question #1: I'm not sure how the pods operate... should I replace them with my own seeds after I'm done growing them? Do I have to purchase seeds from Aero Garden every time?
Answer: Our Seed Pod Kits are only intended for one-time usage. Grow Anything Seed Pod Kits are available for you to sow your own seeds in.

Question #2: We adore our system, but all of the lettuce types are bitter, despite their size and beauty. Is there anything we're doing wrong?
Answer: Before bolting or bitterness sets in, our lettuce and salad green types may survive up to 4 months. Some may last up to 5 months, while others may only last 3 months. The typical length of time is about four months. Remember that light wattage, photo period, and general care affect all life cycle timings. Faster maturation is associated with higher wattage.

Question #3: At night, the temperature in the garden drops to 58 degrees. The temperature reaches 70° throughout the day when the 15-hour light cycle is turned on. Is 58 degrees too cold?
Temperature has a variety of effects on plants. Plants in your AeroGarden will thrive in temperatures ranging from 65 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. Salads grown outdoors are cool-weather plants that thrive in temperatures between 68 and 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Tomatoes and peppers, on the other hand, are warm-weather plants that thrive at temperatures of 76°F or above. While there are some inherent variations across plant kinds, the AeroGarden aids in the creation of an environment that promotes optimum development for all of your plants.
