Being in a market for a new car, I tested a 2021 Sienna Hybrid. This was the first Sienna I ever been in. I had Previas and loved them all. Then I switched to Honda Odyssey. After driving Sienna I was very surprised that my Honda was much more powerful and quiet. so I tried the 2020 v6 I was relieved that Sienna was a good car, but I like Honda more.

U think the engine is noisy? It’s a legendary NA V6 sound! I wish it sounds louder so I can hear it more clearly

You can vacum around the center console, you just need the right attachment. Although it would have been nice if it was removable without unscrewing it.

We have a Toyota Sienna 2011 and it is about 10 years old now and 90000Kms so far. We drive it every day except one month that we went out of the country and parked it in the garage—Since we bought it a brand new, until now we have never fixed anything yet, changed four new tires and a new battery once that all in 10 years. Brake pads and rotors maybe in the spring or summer 2021. So far very happy with it with no issues or problems for 10 years and we hope to drive it another more 10 years. Yes, we don’t like the engine noise that much, but we don’t notice it if we don’t pay attention to it that much. Hoping that 2021 model year and in the next few years Toyota will increase the hp from 245hp to 275hp at least. 2011 model was 266hp the several years later Toyota increased 2020 model to 290hp.

2021 Toyota Sienna is all hybrids. So you might want to go back to Honda. But myself the gas mileage on the Hybrid 35 city 36 Highway is what I want. I think that’s what the estimates are?

I think the engine Rpm thing is a part of the pollution control requirements - keeps the fuel-air ration from getting too lean.

Thank you, although it sounded more of a Honda/Toyota comparison
🤷🏼‍♂️

35K miles on a 2020? Jeez what were they using this for?? BTW, I rented a V6 Sienna same generation (2018) and I agree about the engine noise. I didn't like the way the engine sounds either. I don't think it's just that one Sienna you tested, I think they are all like that.

We have a 2020 for awd sienna and it’s definitely pretty fast. When you floor it you can feel the near 300 HP. 2020 > 2021 in my opinion
