Yeah the GSP fix is nice and all but why did it take this long to fix?? That should have been one if the first patches but no they wait 4 years after the last DLC fighter comes out just to break mods that are gonna be fixed in like less than a week 🙄🙄

Due to a GSP bug, Steve has been removed from the game.

This is just to fight off modders and hackers who add in new skins. Unlike Steam, Nintendo isn't very user-friendly with a workshop with User-Created Content for Smash.

Bugs are not necesarily fixed as soon as they're found; depending on its priority and time/budget, they may not even get fixed at all.

The fact that they're fixing it now might be beause they're already working in the next Smash, so going back to Ultimate and patch it there costs next to nothing. If this is the case, development on the new Smash might have started as early as January 2024, since there were new set of spirits since then.
