The John Wayne hat really bugs me. I think it’s pretty clear based on John Wayne’s sons opinion that the hat wasn’t his dads and I’m sure he’s privy to more than a couple of his dads hats that haven’t shrunk. What bothers me the most though is that the seller runs a Gettysburg museum with a ton of larger than life items and the fact that this hat clearly isn’t real, to me, that draws his entire collection into question

Anytime you have the seller talking more than the expert (in this case John Wayne s son...) You know the item is most likely fake and the sellers going home with no money..just a fake hat. Lol poor guy..seen him try and also sell a so called piece of the rough riders calvary flag one time...fake too.

Fun fact about the tie from the Sopranos. When he turns it around you can see the lable 'Brioni'. Thats a very expensive brand. Pierce Brosnan wore Brioni in his Bond movies. :)
