He chose a random piece for tasting.   It just happened to be the piece with the most bacon.   I remembered where it was.   Thanks for this chef John.  I have to take my medicine on a full stomach in the morning.   Breakfast is always a challenge for me.  I have no appetite in the morning.  But, even though you say this is a brunch dish, it will put enough in my stomach to take my pills.   I shall "enjoy".

I made this.. used fresh spinach, but everything else was spot on, and let me tell you.. it was AMAZING. Keeping this recipe in my special recipe box

Just made this dish for our Christmas morning meal with the family. All of us are adults over 30 so needless to say any home cooked meal is appreciated! Served with a side of home made O'Brien style Hash Browns & toasted bagels. The votes are in. KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK!! They all loved it!! All of them asked for it again next year!! Great Job!!

My family makes something similar to this every year for Christmas, but we add either yellow mustard or dijon and it is amazing. Strongly recommend adding mustard to this, it goes really well with the eggs.

I made this for Christmas morning breakfast. My family loved it! I made mine with bulk pork sausage instead of bacon because that is what I had. I’m looking forward to making it again and trying some other variations.
