Thanks for your honest in-depth review of the POP. Great side by side comprehensive comparison of the Echo POP and the Echo DOT. Your side-by-side analysis was helpful regarding the physical aspects, such as button layout, speaker quality, and the presence of features like motion detection and temperature sensors. To me, the POP sounded like it has a bit more bass to it.

The Pop is more responsive to commands than other versions of Echo.

Just got mine on sale from Amazon. 6.99 🎉 so only reason I really got it but I’ve never had a voice assistant

I have an echo dot and pop brought my pop for £17.99 on Amazon prime day (normal price £44.99) though the dot that is in my living room has a better full sound to cover the larger room the pop is good in the kitchen while cooking it takes up less space fills the kitchen and the outside on volume 5. And overall a good speaker if limited on space on the room.

I bought the echo pop during prime days for $17.99. Never had a device like this, but wanted something small for my bedroom. Sure, the sound could be better, but it is better than I expected from such a small device. The only thing I find annoying about it is that sometimes Alexa doesn't understand what I want. I asked her to play western movie themes and she played country music! Another time I asked her to play a specific type of music and she played something else. I don't recall what I asked or what she played. Otherwise I don't have much in the way of "cons" for the device. But as I said this is the first of its kind that I have. so I have nothing to compare it with. I do own a FireTV where I can speak to Alexa. So far that has worked out okay.

It replaces the 3rd generation echo dot, the one that looks like a hockey puck. Supposedly better acoustics and tech.

You are correct and I feel why they even made such a product bcoz I am using the amazon echo products since a long time and in this regards flex was better . Your content is great and always love to see you make such videos and helping people .

Sounds like echo pop is a single driver vs the dot with main driver and a tweeter. Echo pop is a dressed up echo dot 2 if you remember it.

I'm guessing that the pricepoint makes sense if you plan to buy multiple all at once. Buying 5 nets you $50 savings right away compared to the dot.

A revamped Echo Flex would have been preferable or a speaker specifically for the bathroom. The bathroom is the only room in the house that most people can't put these fabric covered speakers.

You get a light colored cable because the majority of people have light colored walls and it wont stand out as much is my guess

Not a fan of either. If I want a big device, then I'd rather get a Show. I preferred the Gen 3 Echo Dot and have them mounted on the wall socket, and the cord is hidden in my bathrooms and laundry room. Shows 5, 8, and 10s in the bigger rooms.

Actually glad to see them come out with something else I hope it's much better than the sphere... I just started watching your video so I'll have to wait and see till the end. I don't know if it's just mine but the audio on the sphere is subpar to the third generation echo Dot. I do like the light moved up to the top though I don't like the light on the bottom of the sphere.

I never thought I'd own a echo. I just got it on sale for 10 bucks and it's definatly worth it at that price😂
