How do you define authentic?

I define it as an ability. Why? Because we are all born very authentic. As a baby coming out of the womb, we don't think we need to act a certain way to be accepted. No! Babies cry, poop, vomit, and yell. So authentic.

So we have to learn to censure ourselves to the point where we're no longer authentic. Just as we can learn to be inauthentic, we can learn to be more authentic.

This is why I believe authenticity is an ability.
