Paint Chips!

Nail polish will chip! It doesn’t matter if the brand says polish should last 7-14 days without chips. That is a marketing tactic to get you to buy their polish instead of going to the competitors.

To prevent chips as much as possible, follow these steps:
1.) Be sure to prep your nail bed before applying color. Prep by dehydrating your nail with acetone or alcohol. This removes any oil and allows your nail polish to grip to the nail.
2.) Use a good base coat. Base coats help the longevity of a manicure.
3.) Cap the free edge of your nail with nail polish as you’re painting your nails.
4.) Use a good top coat. Top coat helps the manicure last longer.
5.) Lastly, use gloves while doing housework or gardening or doing the dishes. Water can cause your manicure to chip prematurely.

Remember, polish chipping after a few days is completely normal! With as much as we use our hands daily, no polish will magically stay on your nails forever! Follow for more nail care tips! 💜

I like to change every 3-4 days. I have almost 300 polishes in my collection and growing. I get great payoff when painting on a new color. So I go through a lot of nail/cuticle oil before during and after polishing. I get antsy and want a new color 2-3 times a week. Also love doing seasonal colors throughout the year. So fun

Honestamente para mi no es importante la duración del nail polish (pero si la formula) . Yo cambio de color seguido, además es terapéutico para mi pintarme las uñas 😁💅🏻

I find a good tips to use a CND Gel Shellac basecoat over a MUA Peel off basecoat, normal OPI nail polish and CND SHELLAC topcoat with a cheapo Ebay rubber basecoat! UK 🇬🇧💅🏉
