My personal choice, a folding saw. Light weight and can actually do the work. My best choice, an actual bow saw. Every one should have one of these in their vehicle. Riding ATV's in Colorado, my father and I had a tree fall across our dead end path preventing us from exiting. A half hour of work with a bow saw cleared our path, plus the blades last forever and cut fast.

I agree 100%. Basicaly all dictated on your preparation and destination. wire saw are ideal for un planed survival situation because their usualy in your small survival kit that you should always carry with yoou.

Great job man ! I've cut wrist thick branches with my leatherman if you have nothing else a leatherman will definitely work !  Keep up the great job bro !

I don't really see the point in wire saws. You waste a bunch of T&E when you could just snap the branches/small saplings instead because youre not cutting down large tree's with a wiresaw.
