It is not a "hard reset" if you can "tap" on the screen. Mine does not respond to tapping. EDIT: The actual hard reset is done by holding the power button for 15 seconds. No settings data is lost, just steps/tracks.

Thx for the video. But my touchscreen is not responding. I did soft restart but that didn't help. Any idea?

lol thats nbot a hard reset, thats a soft reset from the settings, mine just hang off and dont respond no anything
