i was working construction in the hot australian sun listening to SRV as i often did when over the radio they announced he had died back in the day ...i was totally destroyed as i had been practicing guitar and wanted to be the next SRV lol, so i am a number 1 listener of all that is SRV, , YOU DO AN EXCELLENT JOB of capturing the essence of SRV work, i wish you the very best and continuation of guitar enjoyment and life bro . cheers

The harmony of ear, signal to finger execution and feeling, are truly a well honed gift. This, for me, is the closest cover of SRV I've heard in my 58 yrs and I've listened to his music, (this song especially), seen him twice live and attended many live cover performances over that time.
