I downloaded the apk and installed it on my s7 active and it works great! You can view it via the app, Google photos, or the default gallery.

The decision to shut down the street view app and remove the photo sphere option on the pixel camera app was a HUGE L move, Google.

I am facing a problem.
I use an iPhone and google app to create panoramas.
When my panorama is ready. Do I need to mark the location to post it on the map?
For example, I went into nature and made a panorama next to the lake, but I cannot mark the location of this particular lake, it does not find it. According to the coordinates, the panorama is in the right place, but I cannot mark this particular site (this is a field and a lake) there are no definite names. But I want to highlight this point on the map ..
I don't know where to go to solve this problem.

Cyanogenmod has a modified version of the camera app. When you flash gapps, you get the original, stock google version with photosphere. :)
