We have taken God out of this country. I have not heard this much hate talking in my 70 plus years going back to the Eisenhower years. This country praises people who tear others down. They stand in rallies and hear the political leader degrade, slander, mock and say all kinds of evil to the point of revenge about others who do not agree with them. Is this what Jesus would do? Is this how Jesus responded to the Sadducees and Pharisees? Is this the way He said we should live in the Beatitudes that He gave us as a way of life. We are mocking the Commandments and the Beatitudes. We are basically saying to Jesus that we live in modern times and our morals have changed to fit our lifestyles and what we want. God's laws people are saying are out of date. God help us if we follow any leader on either side that puts God's words second to ours. Each side of the political party boasts about how wonderful they are but each is proclaiming their own set of evils. one side disregards what is said in 1 Corinthians 6:19. The other one changes Jesus's words when He says, "Love your enemies and forgive those who persecute you. Forgive others as God has forgiven you." Why do we not expect more from our leaders as God did from Moses, David and Solomon. We believe we can allow some evil to get the good things we want and think we deserve. In thinking that good can come from evil, we are saying that we can accept satan to achieve good. In doing so we have sinned against the Holy Spirit and have commited the unforgiveable sin in Scripture. We are living 2 Timothy 3. As I said I have never seen this country so filled with hate and I have seen that hate as a Vietnam Vet. I saw it during the 60s race riots and blacks being beaten for no reason other than trying to live as normal citizens. I saw it in the five guys who beat me, put me in the hospital because I did not root for the right team. I saw it in the man who murdered my sister because he thought he was better than her. When we start believing that we are all equal in God's eyes and treat each other than so, we will never see heaven.

Lol … I’m thankful for Trumps efforts, but I do laugh at some of the stuff he says. He’s a little lacking in situational awareness at times. In this instance, he’s sitting there talking to a man who just came out of prison, proclaiming how the first step act has helped him turn his life around. Then about two sentences into Trumps response, he’s highlighting how we need to keep criminals out of the country. Obviously we need to keep criminals out, but that probably wasn’t the right moment to talk about it.
