Universe mode is the best thing on the game but needs many improvements

This might be just my opinion but this is exactly more of the type of deep dive content that 2k absolutely should be doing for this game and they definitely should be paying you for taking the time to go over everything. Prior to WWE 2K launching, all of those community livestreams only talked about surface level features with the game and didn’t get as extensive as you did. I do hope they see this video and consider partnering with passionate creators such as you and others to make more videos better describing everything WWE 2K23 has to offer.

I did this yesterday. Every ppv is 6 matches. Auto rivals off. IC and Universal and tag team titles. It took me a second to simplify it.

Pretty similar to what im doing with my women's roster on NXT 2.0. Only using 3 NXT Women's titles & every In Your House PPVs are different with the match tables. Another great video as always Assemble.

I kinda wish 2K gave us types of storylines that leads to matches we could use for rivalries. But let’s be real, the only way that’s gonna happen is if there’s a huge uproar like how the fans did for GM mode or 2K actually caring for the fans.


Ronda’s design in raid really reminds me a lot of WWE Immortals (seriously, we need a sequel to that with the current roster as they can pick so many different designs and looks for them).

Idk feels almost like more work to do RNG matches with this method rather then just setting up the matches yourself for each show. But then again I think when you set up your own matches it kinda messes with the "rivalry cut scenes" which is strange. Any time i've changed a match type that is labeled as "rivalry" it removes the "rivalry" tag and no cut scenes happen.

2k should try to make Universal Mode playable online that would be great and give us a Wwe 2k Tournament with My Faction similar to NBA 2k23 my team.

You nailed it out of the park again with this video! This is the best universe tutorial series by far that I’ve seen.

I’d love to see how you go in and set up a match where someone just won the right to be #1 contender. Also curious to see if manually editing matches, if that screws up getting possible cut scenes or whatever.

I was just watching your LA Knight in universe mode for 1 yr video and i just had an idea. Put LA Knight and Bray Wyatt as a tag team in universe mode for 1 yr and see what they can do. Why? Idk i think itd be funny

Thanks for the series, it really good. I wonder if setting up championship matches are also bugged. I had the normal 1v1 und 2v2 settings and then added these 2 matches to the matchtable with the setting to be a championship match then I had the regular matches and these 2 for the titles setted up. Chance for the title matches was 1% . So what happend is that I got title matches on each week even tho it was 1% chance for it to happen. When you click on matchtable and set up only these 2 as championship matches and then scroll up or down some of the other matches that are in the matchtable will change to championship matches aswell, so I think it's bugged and I would like you to show this if you do a 4th video

btw you can't have more than 100% overall per matchcard, I saw you going way over 100%

2K really needs to sit down and put some actual care into universe mode. They're starting to become like EA and how they treat their franchise mode in Madden
