The security is great and all until someone sticks a wire through the mesh door and pushes down the handle on the other side. You may as well have just put a “please keep out sign” up

No anti-vandal keypad, latch exposed from the outside, latch lock which is not even that secure, gate moving like it’s not even fixed, holes in the gate/fence big enough to push handle from outside…should I continue?

People are so dumb. It’s a gate on a yard folks. It’s not supposed to be Fort Knox. It’s just supposed to keep random people from deciding to hang out on this private lawn. It’s not going to keep a prepared and determined criminal out and I am sure there are more locks on the inside of the building better designed for that purpose.

You’ll have to install a sensor on inside side of the gate, to activate the lock to be opened only when a person is staying there, to prevent someone from opening it from outside using a stick

You might as well put a welcome sign on that fence. A magnet or string could easily open it. Not to mention that a Schlage lock is easy to pick open.
