I've had a lot of questions lately on how I cut down plywood sheets for furniture and cabinet building. It's actually a really easy task if you have the right tools.

I use a circular saw to quickly and easily cut down my plywood sheets. And I combine the circular saw with a Kreg Rip Cut to rip my sheets to the correct width and a Kreg Accu-Cut to cross cut my plywood to the correct lengths.

In this video, I explain how I use these guides and a couple FAQ about the process.

You can also find a step by step written tutorial here:

Thank you so much for responding so quickly, I’m staring at these saws and needed to decide. I love your channel! You have inspired me beyond my own imagination. You have a great talent for describing things simply and only what needs to be said. Too many YouTubers get side tracked and go on about things that do not pertain to the subject. You are indeed one of the best digital content creator!

This was one of the most helpful videos I’ve ever seen. No fluff. No “uhh” or “ummm” every other word. I learned a ton and feel way more prepared for next time. Thank you so much!!! ✌️

Perfect job explaining. Thank you. So, so much. I dread using my skilsaw. Because it will and does kickback every chance it gets.

Thanks for this great video! It is very interesting informative. I’ve been saving for a Kreg track saw but there are always thing that land higher on the priority list. Now I feel that these two tools are a workable alternative. I have a table saw but since I’m close to 70, 3/4 inch plywood is getting much heavier. Good job.

What I did, it took a punch and drill bit and made dents where the setting screws align. This helps hold it in place and accurate.

Thank you for posting this video. It really helped me demo a "DIY" shelving unit the previous owners did in my garage. I appreciate you!

I noticed you are missing the stop block that should be in place on the baseplate to accurately reset the saw location if it's removed. I remove mine all the time & never had an issue with it's repeated accuracy. I have both guides & love them. I use mine to rough cut sheet goods so they are easier to handle & cut to final size on the table saw.
