Germany WAS the financial powerhouse of the EU when it had cheap energy. At one time before the SMO Germany contributed 44 billion Euros to the EU coffers for spending in most other EU countries. With the pipelines damaged and energy sanctions on Russian gas and oil, embargoes from the sanctions preventing trade with Russia THAT MORE IS GONE and German companies who employ thousands of workers are in financial trouble.

Maybe the Germans finally remember what they committed to obtaining state independence in 1990 when they signed
