At my old work we used a website for secret Santa. Each person could choose on the site items they liked (from different price ranges). When you were allocated a user it showed you their list and the option to buy the item through Amazon.

I thought it was genius. So simple, and they must have earnt tons from affiliates.

That would suggest this website drives millions of book sales a year. Thousands maybe. 10s of thousands but millions? The visitors would all have to use the affiliate link and buy a book.

I’m thankful for this! 🙌🏼 The other day I saw a vid review on how China, Japan and India have websites that look like from the early 2000s and they basically look pretty much crowded with info and buttons yet just worked! It’s about giving the customers what they want or what they’re used to while providing them with what they need in a way.
